It is a time of transition in the life of Salem Avenue Baptist Church. God is on the move in exciting ways as we look to the future of where God is leading us as a church. The Long-Range Planning Committee spent the bulk of the 2025-2026 church year examining who we are as a church and how God is calling us to minister here in Rolla, Phelps County, and beyond. 

The work produced a revised mission statement and clarity surrounding what we value as a church, what we do as a church, and how we determine whether or not we're actually doing what God has called his church to do, glorify him and make disciples. 

To that end, following the morning service on October 11th the Long-Range Planning Committee will be presenting its findings and proposing that the congregation adopt this fresh mission and vision for the future of Salem Avenue Baptist Church.

This town hall meeting will be a time to reflect on the history of our church and our path forward into the future as well as ask questions about , all with our missional purpose to spread the name and fame of Jesus wherever we go.
