For our second session of the 2026-27 calendar year, we have three offerings: Not a Fan by Kyle Idleman (General Study), How to Succeed in Your Quiet Time without Really Trying (Salem Avenue Essentials Study), and Deep Discipleship (Part 1).

    What would you think if I told you I was not a fan of Jesus?

    “Oh my gosh, how awful!”

    “You’ve got to be kidding me!”

    “But you’re a church member!”

    Well, that’s the goal of this study, to NOT be a fan of Jesus.

    No matter where you are in your walk with Christ, Not a Fan calls you to consider the demands and rewards of being a true disciple.

    Because Christians are prone to gospel-amnesia, every Christian should dedicate daily time to connect with God through Bible intake, prayer, and meditation in order to apply God's truth to our hearts, minds, and lives. During this six week study, Pastor Bob and Brandon will teach you how to engage in these activities and incorporate them into your daily rhythms in ways that are far simpler than Christians often believe.

    This comprehensive program takes a systematic approach to understanding theology and growing in faith, providing a 24-week discipleship course to meet this deep desire to equip and disciple their people into a greater love and knowledge of God. The video-based training includes a clear scope of discipleship and an integrated curriculum that balances Christian story (Bible literacy), Christian belief (theological literacy), and Christian formation (spiritual disciplines).

    During the first six weeks answers the questions: What is "Deep Discipleship"? Who is God? How do we know God? What is the story of Scripture? How did we get here? and Who are we?

    This study runs through the rest of the year, but you do not have to attend every subsequent class to participate in the study.
